Tinley Park is a village of two building eras, and they present different problems. The neighborhoods around the older village core have homes with compact baths and openings that have shifted over decades. A quarter inch of taper from ceiling to floor is normal, and glass has no way to accommodate it unless somebody measures for it.

The subdivisions built from the 1980s onward have the opposite situation. The walls are usually true, but the layouts are more ambitious: corner units, angled entries, larger walk-ins, sometimes a bench cutting into the panel line. Those need custom fabrication for design reasons rather than settling reasons.

Either way the fix is the same. We measure the room in front of us and cut to it.

Common issues: sliders that drag because the rollers wore out, hinges that drifted and dropped a frameless panel out of square, sweeps that hardened and now let water onto the tile, hardware that pulled loose. Those are all fixable at a fraction of what a new enclosure costs.

Neo-angle corners and steam enclosures, common in the master baths in newer subdivisions here, cost more again because they involve more glass and more precise fabrication.
